THOR continues to support associations in the 2019/2020 season
In the current season, we are again supporting associations of our employees. We’ve put together a few facts, figures and pictures – have fun taking a look!
76 Vereine unserer THORianer freuen sich in der aktuellen Saison
We have already been able to support 76 associations in the current season. Of these, 22 clubs are completely new. A look at the current statistics clearly shows that sports clubs are in the majority. Soccer, darts, swimming, fishing – our THORians like to be active in sports. Which other associations have we supported this season? Fire department, carnival, garden, local history and development associations were also pleased to receive financial support and donations in kind.
Associations sponsorship has now been an integral part of our THOR® employee package since 2015. Almost five years in which we were able to put a smile on the faces of 264 associations.

Security for you and your family – that’s what we want to offer you! That’s why every THORian gets a permanent employment contract with us. We plan for the future with our employees.
THORians receive a monthly salary that is well above the standard pay scale. In addition, every fitter receives a wage.
We make sure that everything goes according to plan during operations. Every THORian receives a tool and machine kit. And we also attach particular importance to quality when it comes to workwear: engelbert strauss®.
Our employees should not only be financially well off as THORians, but also in retirement. As an employer, we therefore pay into a company pension scheme.
Always be up to date with the latest technical developments. We have been training our own junior heating and sanitary specialists since 2015. Our first two apprentices have already completed their training. For them, the day-to-day work as HVAC system mechanics has already begun. We take on our apprentices after they have successfully completed their training.
The qualifications of our fitters are also important to us. The THOR® Academy is an important address for this.
The health of our employees is important to us. That is why we give them a status similar to that of private patients. Specialist appointments within a few days, private patient comfort in the “Wir für Gesundheit” clinic network, discounts on fitness, vacations and nutrition programs. Our employees do not have to pay for this! Since 2018, this health cover has also been available for the spouses/life partners and offspring of our THORians. We also cover the costs for this!
Being mobile – that is our claim! We make this possible for our specialists. You drive a company car, including fuel card, from home to the construction site.
In our own rewards store called THOR&more, our THORians can collect points and then redeem them for rewards. Points are awarded, for example, for health months, special work achievements, birthdays, company anniversaries or the birth of a child. The THOR&more rewards store has everything a THORian’s heart (or that of their loved ones) desires.
